I just had Verizon FIOS 10mbps/2mbps high-speed internet installed.
On Firefox 3.0.1 my line tests at 2772kbs download and 1487kbs upload.
On Safari 3.2.1 my line tests at 9202kbs download and 14491kbs upload.
Why is Firefox so slow?|||I don't know, but I use Firefox %26amp; it does seem to be a little slow. Should I change to Safari? I have Google as my provider, since I live in the same town they are located in, I get free wireless. (They are thinking about extending that kindness up to S.F. the last I heard) So I am just glad to have the free internet. But if I could get it FASTER, that would be even better! Do you have them both on the same computer?
