Is 120. Kb/sec a slow internet download speed for Att Dsl Elite internet?

Ok I have Att Dsl Elite internet (which is the fastest) and I am downloading a game on Left 4 dead 2 on Steam. Steam says that I am download at an average of 120 Kb/sec. Is this a slow speed for the fastest connectivity available on AT%26amp;T.

I also did a test on speedtest.net and it says 3.96Mb/s, upload 0.63Mb/sec, and ping 78ms through ISB, SBC internet services.

I also live in El Paso, Texas if that helps

Also I know its not my home computer, since my dad has a new desktop that has almost the same speed.

Also I am connected through an At%26amp;t router that I have had more than 2 years and that connects to my internet line in my house|||Your download speed is only determined by what the provider has you provisioned for and latency/congestion between you and the provider's DSLAM in the Central Office. PC Tune up programs will do nothing for your speed and are simply junk IMHO.

If you are worried you are not getting your provisioned speed, open a ticket with the provider to check your provisioning and throughput. "Fastest connectivity available on AT%26amp;T" doesn't tell us what technology they are using to get DSL to you (IDSL, ADSL, SDSL, etc.) nor what they have you provisioned for, and the provider is the best source to investigate what you are looking for.|||There is no way to grantee a minimum download, in example if you download a game from a kenyan man (high latency for the place you are logged in) who has dial-up connection it will last years to you receive the file. Your ISP can't grantee speed downloads.
