Is anybody else getting lag on Xbox live? I have been doing xbox live sense halo 3 came out (played Halo 3 for a month, now Call of Duty 4 sense then). Call of duty 4 has played fine with no lag most of the times. every so often my internet would go down (Qwest DSL).
But the last couple of times (last night, and Saturday) the lag has been really bad. I start a game fine, but then 4 or 5 times during a match it well start to loose connection. I reset my gateway that the xbox connected straight to. It gets a little better but still some lag problems. I can't figure out what is causing it. I do an Internet test on my computer, and I'm getting my 1.2 mbs but usually only 500 kbs upload. (even though i signed up for 1.5, and 7 upload)
I would think this is good enough? I'm thinking its my upload speed but I'm trying to figure out if there is a way for me to test xbox live connection? I'm guessing not???????????|||Yea lag all the time on Live its because they havn't updated it. They still allow original xboxes on the same connection so it slows the whole system down. once those break though (they will because they were designed by microsoft with a limited life span) than everything should be more or less fine|||lag doesnt matter it the asses that care about it.|||you should be good at those speeds I have a slower connection and play lag free but i was told the the person causing the lag doesn't know because they experience the game with no lag so it might be the other people in the game. Are you getting signed out of xbox live completely
