Is my upload speed normal?

I have 3mb speed DSL and did the speed test. My download speed is 2.56 mb and the upload speed is 0.08. Is that normal for uploading because it is taking forever to upload a video to youtube (see my last question) the last time it took 5 hours to upload a 200mb file. 4 times after that a 96mb file gets aborted after 2 hours. Should I call the internet provider?|||Your upload speed should typically be about 1/10 your download speed, or about 256kbps in this case. I'd suspect an overheated router (or modem) as the first place to look. If not, call your provider's tech support number and see if they can find the problem. (If you have a router and remove it - connecting the computer directly to the modem - and that clears the problem u0p, you know it's the router.)|||That is indeed pretty slow. Contact your ISP, but first, ask what is the upload speed on your Internet plan. Usually upload speeds provided are much lower than download speeds, but definitely not that low.
