AT&T DSL speed question?

Ok so i have the 6 mbps one..but when i do a speed test its says it is 1.54 mbps how do improve this speed?|||Unfortunately, there's not much you can do here. You could increase the speed of your computer, but the fastest your internet will move is 6 mbps, regardless of how BAMF your computer is. In fact, the only way to get a really quick speed is talk to your ISP provider, which is AT%26amp;T. As for the 1.54 mbps thing, call AT%26amp;T for some help. Sure, you'll prolly get on the phone with some guy in India who can barely speak english, but you gotta do what you gotta do.





If you want some quick tips though, try resetting your modem. That has worked wonders for me in the past. Or you could try resetting your router or messing with your router settings. If you do that though, make sure you have a way to get everything back in working order. The last thing you want to do is shut off your internet completely. Try unhooking the ethernet and internet cords and plugging them back in. Finally, a complete reboot of your system never hurt anybody.
