How much download speed is of Mtnl DSL unlimited 395 normally?

I HAD GONE TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE.THEY WERE HAVING THIS PLAn.when i tested the speed on speedtest.net i saw that the download speed is 1.78 mbps normally.I AM THINKING TO BUY THAT PLAN HOW MUCH speed do the people having this plan get|||It is a how long is a piece of string thing - it depends on your phone line ,what site you are visiting, the time of day and the amount of congestion on the network. There is no such thing as a "normal" figure, especially for DSL service. The ISP should be able to provide a rough estimate of how fast your particular phone line will support though, although that will be little more than a guess based on the length of the line.|||It is normal for other ISP in India that they provide u a full browsing speed but a download speed is exactly divided by 8 but in case of mtnl they give you a full download speed till you get your 1st bill and then after it reduces to its normal bandwith of 320 kbps but its not in case of the old subscribers as I am also using this plan I get a constant speed of 291 kbps so if you want you better have a try|||hey ur friend is lucky. but anyway you are assured of a speed of 320 Kbps with unlimited download for just rs. 395. so njoy and tell the world what you are.
